Warwick Youth Links does just that. It links you with people and services that can help you. If we can’t immediately help you through our range of services or programs, we will ensure that you leave us with a referral to another service provider or ease the way for you. Then we will follow you up to make sure you have been able to access the services you need.

In addition to this, don’t be surprised if one of our staff contact you when you leave school to ensure you have got where you wanted to go and have the support around you.

Get Set For Work - Funded by the Queensland Government’s Department of Employment and Training.

This program is very much an employment preparation program. Young people aged between 15 – 17 years who are not attending school or TAFE, or who are at risk of not staying at school or TAFE, or who have minimal hours of employment are eligible. SDIEA provides and or pays for accredited and non accredited training and activities to ensure you are ready for the workplace or choose to return to education and or training. There is no cost to participants. We run two programs per year.
Historically, participants will be in training two days/week and attend work experience for one day/week.
We purchase accredited training for the participants depending on your needs. We have had great outcomes from this program in the past with no less than 85% of graduates gaining employment or returning to school or enrolling in further training. It is fun and non threatening. Our training facility is always based in the community.

If you are 15 – 17 yrs, left school or thinking about leaving school then this is the program for you.
Please contact us for information on when the next round will start.

Look out for fun activities the youth support coordinators run in your school!!!!!!!!

School-based Australian Apprenticeships – Funded by Warwick State High School

Warwick State High School has asked us to facilitate and promote school-based Australian Apprenticeships for their students. SDIEA does this by ensuring any job opportunity is promoted through the school notices. In addition to this Natalie will work directly with you to skill you up to find your own Australian Apprenticeship, attend the sign up with you to make sure your best interests are upheld and will monitor your progress through the life of the Apprenticeship whilst you are still attending school.
Natalie is very passionate about Australian Apprenticeships and she has a deep understanding of what employers want. Call in and see her or give her a ring.
