Volunteer
with SDIEA
Do you want to connect with members of your community who are working toward a meaningful life?
Do you have skills and experience that could help change someone’s career prospects?
Volunteers from the community are screened, trained and supported to create positive relationships with our clients; empowering them with learning, life skills and confidence.
You could be working in our training rooms, administration, maintenance, brainstorming fundraising ideas or meeting with community members, being a SDIEA volunteer is as beneficial for you as it is for SDIEA.
Fundraise
with SDIEA
SDIEA has a number of events we host through-out the year to fundraise.
We would love the community to get involved. Check out our events page to find out what is happening.
SDIEA also contributes to other organisations and fundraisers, if your organisation would like to work in collaboration with us or invite us to join your event please contact.
We are also on the look out for new and exciting ideas - contact us with your ideas on how we could be fundraising and bringing value to our community.
Application Support
for SDIEA
SDIEA is able to provide training opportunities within the community due to the financial support of the Queensland Government's Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative.
We apply for this funding bi-annually and are required to show community need and benefit for the courses we offer.
We reach out to local businesses and organisations to provide us with letters of support during this application process. These letters are essential to our ongoing success and we would like to say thank-you to everyone who has helped us.
If you see value in what we do and we have impacted your business in some way by upskilling our community we would love to hear from you.
