Conservation & Ecosystem Management

Study at Certificate l in Conservation and Ecosystem Management whilst gaining hands on experience.

This is a paid 6-month traineeship where you will learn skills to start a rewarding career.

SDIEA partner with Southern Downs Regional Council, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services and other organisations in the sector to bring a wide variety of work to the trainees who work with us.

Business

Work full-time for 6-months while gaining a Certificate l in Workplace Skills.

Learn skills to set you up to be successful in a role in administration, businesses or starting your own small business.

In this hands on traineeship you will work closely with the Jumpers and Jazz in July Committee assisting with administrative work, event planning, and the festival.

You will also get to organise and be part of some big events at SDIEA.

Hospitality

Gain your Certificate l in Hospitality, RSA, and RSG certificates. This is a 26-week full time traineeship working in SDIEA's food van and Cafe.

Learn all about the hospitality industry with a chance to work both front and back of house.

You will learn food preparation, the basics of cooking, menu planning, customer service, and more.

26 weeks paid traineeship
Certificate 1 in Hospitality
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) certificate
